002.jpg -   This year's National Pilgrimage was entitled 'House of Mercy' and history was made by the presence of the Bishop of Tarbes and Lourdes, Monseigneur Jacques Perrier, in addition to the Bishop of Norwich and many other bishops, including Bishop Jack Iker from Fort Worth, USA.  The principal celebrant at the Pilgrimage Mass was the Rt Revd Alan Chesters, Honorary Guardian of The Shrine and the Rt Revd Lindsay Urwin ODG, Shrine Administrator, preached the Sermon.   Following the Procession and Benediction, the Brandie Gate was rededicated in honour of Canon Beaumont Brandie SSC, as a mark of his many years of service to The Shrine.
